Technical Matters

The height, scale, and form of the proposed hotel are consistent with the surrounding development and the scheme will therefore integrate cohesively into the Edinburgh Park masterplan area.

While detailed landscaping proposals are still being developed, they will be informed by the findings of the ecological appraisal and aligned with the landscape and ecological strategy of the wider masterplan.

 

The proposals will aim to soften the built environment and enhance the site’s character by creating an attractive, welcoming, and well-integrated external landscape, whilst encouraging biodiversity enhancement.
